There are roads to Had Rin, but we have warned you that the concrete roads are not in the greatest state and unless consider yourself a good motorcycle rider then do not try to get to HadRin, as nearly all accidents involving motorcycles happen in this area. Our advice is to leave your motorcylce at the 7-11 at Baan Tai and pay approx 50 Baht for a pick up over the hills to island weather. A range of fishes and fantastic coral reefs offering island has also a choice of upper class resort with long walks, cooking courses and different other options. Located about 12 miles north of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Siam is the island of Koh Phangan. The Island is much quieter and laid back than its neighbor, only with the exception of the full moon party in Haad Rin Nok.
